Office Air Conditioning
When consideration an office air conditioning installation several factors in choosing the type of system should be considered . It is important that the correct distribution of air is maintained. Wall type units can be a problem where they are incorrectly sited in an office with several personnel working in the same room what suits one does not suit them all and the person nearest to the unit will get all the draft where the person at the back can’t get the benefit. Cassette type units have a 4 way discharge of air that is good for approximately 6 metres in any direction. Another consideration is the control of the airconditioning, one room may need heating and another cooling on the same controller, this can be overcome with the correct system.
Office air conditioning can lend itself to almost any type of cooling system available, from a small wall mounted unit to a multi VRF system. Most modern offices use the cassette type of unit for its neat and compact design and to hide away the “bulk” of the cassette body inside the ceiling void. Where ceiling void is minimal, or none at all, the ceiling suspended type is then an option due to its ability to move a large quantity of air over a distance. Some installations can be more cost effective by using a multi wall system like the one on the right. Details of all these systems can be found at the specifications link. Also on this link you will find details dimensions capacity’s etc.
